Well not really, I made a completely whole new car since the other cars we made failed. This car took me 4 hours and a little help from my parents. The materials I used were: Balsa wood (light and thin wood), plastic wheels, tape, balloon, and straws. This car turned out to be the best out of all 4 we've made but there is only one problem. It can cover the distance required but the car cannot run straight. There is no picture available because Francis has the camera. lol!Balloomobilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08046122482592481438noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106869000072992326.post-16872932967900414002009-03-08T13:37:00.001-07:002009-03-08T13:39:39.954-07:00Model 2<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWFdVp5tnFi-PD9uzLertuMccRcY7pG5Iq1E2kXUIwT4bOohGR0cwTU93dpd-rLpbGnrGUtwjPkwFCZG1QOu73_jIDzVj08TbQF6pDbxHklab8xsPHIucPPqDnBBOX1WxxCXwMwKyMTjyD/s1600-h/DSC00092.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWFdVp5tnFi-PD9uzLertuMccRcY7pG5Iq1E2kXUIwT4bOohGR0cwTU93dpd-rLpbGnrGUtwjPkwFCZG1QOu73_jIDzVj08TbQF6pDbxHklab8xsPHIucPPqDnBBOX1WxxCXwMwKyMTjyD/s320/DSC00092.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310918853014571714" border="0" /></a>Model number two actually turned out to be more of a success then model one. The axis on the wheels were fairly balanced which allowed a smooth and straight motion. We used a plastic water bottle, plastic wheels, chop sticks, balloon, plastic tube, and tape. With 5 trial runs, the balloon car managed to travel an average distance of 4-6 metres.Balloomobilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08046122482592481438noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106869000072992326.post-92180199726270865752009-03-08T13:33:00.001-07:002009-03-08T13:36:26.116-07:00Model 1<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj24FT9deDwZ7rSS_TpBpNoyzTgxOiMgY40OCYhUKbx_p3qA29Pcise1SsH_6ZjDiurOEERf7wJ-SgMWkIBkXKEGl8pAEOV6rw_-ogsYNDFBbYW1kvRU-7Ck8WeAHOkN6lcm78UcF4j_EPm/s1600-h/DSC00094.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj24FT9deDwZ7rSS_TpBpNoyzTgxOiMgY40OCYhUKbx_p3qA29Pcise1SsH_6ZjDiurOEERf7wJ-SgMWkIBkXKEGl8pAEOV6rw_-ogsYNDFBbYW1kvRU-7Ck8WeAHOkN6lcm78UcF4j_EPm/s320/DSC00094.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5310917997183224786" border="0" /></a>For our first model we used plastic wheels, cardboard box, tape, and a balloon. We've tried numerous times trying to adjust the axis of the wheels so it would go straight but it just didnt work. So Model number one turned out to be a failure..<br /><span style="font-size:100%;"><span style="font-family:arial;"><br /></span></span>Balloomobilehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08046122482592481438noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106869000072992326.post-8021757229104060932009-02-21T20:01:00.001-08:002009-02-21T20:02:58.932-08:00<span style="font-family:Arial;">I will be providing our new models with details of how it will function, pictures and diagrams, and steps on how we build our next models. Honestly I'm not really good with these things. So I finally took the time to get my lazy butt to play around and fix/switch some stuff around the blog. We also came up with our new logo/banner for our blog. Please give me some feedback to these changes.
